Iron Lung left me thinking less about horror and more about philosophy. What began as a story of survival became a meditation on courage, suffering, freedom, and the quiet struggle to remain faithful to one’s principles when certainty disappears. This essay is an invitation to explore why the greatest battles are seldom fought against the darkness that surrounds us, but against the darkness that seeks to govern us from within.
